Points of Pride
Ascarate Elementary School takes pride in adhering to our District’s seven Tenets:
Respect, offer those we serve the opportunity to perform at their highest levels, and make all that we interact with feel welcome and valued.
Innovation, consistently look for better ways to grow and change. We are proud to be able to provide all our students K-6 a one-to –one technology experience.
Stewardship, approach our daily work as an opportunity to serve others.
Accountability, hold ourselves and others accountable for supporting students and families.
Consistency, maintain a consistent focus on our goals to achieve the goals of our district.
Integrity, be professional in all communication and interactions with the community we serve and with each other.
Collaboration, work as a team to achieve our goals.
Ascarate Elementary School is a small campus where students are treated as individuals not as numbers. All students are well known by the faculty and administration. Students in K - 6th grade attending our campus have access to their own iPad, HP Stream or Chromebook. Students have the opportunity to participate in the Dual Language program from K - 6th grade. We take great pride in always having a large percentage of sixth grade students qualify for AP classes at the Middle School. Students participate in afterschool activities such as cheerleading and basketball. We welcome all parents to volunteer and be a part of our Parent Teacher Organization.
The Ascarate community greatly appreciates the school supplies donation from "Hope for West Texas"!
Ascarate Elementary School is an exceptional school committed to providing the students we serve with the best quality education in a safe learning environment. At Ascarate Elementary we uphold the following beliefs:
